Side Event at UN Human Rights Council: Protecting Sahrawi Defenders

ANGOS will host a side event during the 58th session of the UN Human Rights Council focusing on the protection of Sahrawi human rights defenders.

The event will feature testimonies from defenders currently facing persecution, expert analysis from UN human rights experts, and a call to action for member states.

Speakers include:
- Sahrawi human rights defenders
- UN Special Rapporteur on the situation of human rights defenders
- Representatives from international human rights organizations

This event is accredited for NGOs with ECOSOC consultative status. Entry requires UN badge.
